The founders and board of directors of Kator Dunn Farm, Inc. envisioned the organization as more than just a traditional nonprofit — they set out to create a space where nature, healing, and community purpose intersect. From the outset, their focus has been on working with the Warrior community (veterans and others in transition) through ecotherapy and nature-based support, aiming to preserve traditions while empowering participants to reconnect with the land and themselves. Though still a young 501(c)(3), the leadership has made clear that their strategy combines therapeutic engagement, environmental stewardship, and community resilience, grounded in a belief that time on the farm — rooted in nature, growing with care — can foster wellness. The board’s role has been to shape this vision into actionable programs and sustainable growth, binding their mission to measurable impact and inclusivity for those they serve.
